LynX® Connect communicates

Communicates

Alarm communication

Correctly and immediately communicating alarm signals is the key feature of LynX® Connect. Caregivers are alerted to an emergency situation through application notifications, text communication, sound coding, colour coding or a spoken message. The user can easily detect, consult and respond to incoming alarms thanks to customisable alarm notifications, automatic prioritisation and a user-friendly interface. This ensures smooth communication between patient and caregiver.

Customisable alarm notifications

When an alarm message is received, the device lights up and, depending on the model, shows an overview of the active alarms, or only the alarm with the highest priority. One specific ringing tone per alarm message makes it possible to distinguish different notifications, whether or not supplemented by a unique vibration combination of the device. Caregivers no longer waste time remembering alarms, and can focus on perfectly completing all their tasks one by one.

Automatic prioritisation

Automatic prioritisation enables the caregiver to identify the most important tasks at any time, and give them more attention, energy and time. The alarm priority determines the order in which the alarms are displayed in the alarm overview. On the one hand, LynX® Connect places lower priority alarms in the queue until space becomes available on the screen. On the other hand, alarms with a higher priority always remain visible in the overview. As a result, deadlines are respected, stress is minimised and the care is optimised.

User-friendly interface

The user-friendly interface of the LynX® Client software helps caregivers avoid errors and displays vital information prominently.

Intelligent devices

LynX® Connect provides a wide range of devices that send a signal to the LynX® Server at the touch of a button. The incoming signal alerts the intended recipients and/or (de)activates the relevant devices. Using these devices helps optimise the company's alarm processing and communication.

Care Telephone

The LynX® Care telephone connects patients and caregivers quickly and easily. This peerless telephone, which boasts a range of features, helps optimise (alarm) communication within the care environment.

The design of the device is centred around ease of use. A large touchscreen, icons and large keys with a clear and sensitive pressure point make it simple to make calls and send messages. The built-in camera also allows the user to make video calls. In addition to the in-house LynX® software, the LynX® Care telephone also supports external applications including Skype and Messenger. Not only does the calendar function help users to remember appointments, it can also be configured as a medication reminder, so that patients always take their medication at the right time.

The hands-free talk mode is an excellent trump, to assist both caregivers and patients during an emergency call. Firstly, the patient has freedom of movement after an alarm has been sent and the large screen simultaneously provides more information about the waiting time and the actions taken. Secondly, caregivers can take notes during the call, easily use the keyboard, open cupboards or drawers and carry out various other actions.

Smart button

The LynX® Smart Button is an alarm push button with integrated LED lighting that can be mounted on any surface.

Pressing the button sends an alarm signal via the LynX® Node to the LynX® Alarm Server. This sends the alarm notifications to the intended recipient, according to the urgency, importance and availability. In addition, a pull cord can be attached to the device in order to respond to fall situations.

Remote control

The LynX® Remote Control combines the functions of a traditional alarm button with two control buttons. This allows the user not only to send alarm signals, but also control electrical equipment using Bluetooth® technology. Switching a light on or off, opening or closing a door or setting the position of the sun blinds are just a few of the various possible applications.
