A residential care center with a wide range of services

Dunecluze opened its doors in 2011 in Koksijde, just 800 meters from the sea. The residential care center began with 96 living units, including 6 rooms for short stays. Over the years, the range of services has expanded significantly to include:

• a home nursing service,
• assisted living apartments,
• a dementia support desk,
• a meal delivery service for seniors,
• and small-scale living groups.

Smart technology for greater safety and comfort

The greatest added value of technology at Dunecluze lies in the wandering detection system. Residents wear wandering bracelets that only grant them access to their own rooms. This creates a safe living environment and peace of mind for both residents and their families.

In addition, the intelligent lighting provides a natural daily rhythm. The lighting automatically adjusts to day and night, helping residents experience more calm and better orientation.
