CPAS of Verviers: Fully equipped system ensures greater efficiency and higher quality
La Lainière is located in the heart of Verviers. The residential care center places great importance on the well-being of its residents. The care provided at La Lainière is an integral part of CPAS Verviers. They chose LynX, ranging from telephony to wandering detection, intelligent lighting, alarm server, and a fully equipped call system.
Smooth and effective communication
Mitel landline telephony was chosen for administration and reception. In addition, a fixed telephone is also available for the residents themselves. Nurses and care staff were equipped with a Zebra smartphone. Thanks to mobile telephony, staff are always reachable, wherever they are. Even outside the walls of the care facility, caregivers can receive or send alerts and make calls via WiFi and 4G. One of Verviers’ greatest strengths is that nursing staff must indicate in the app ‘why a call was triggered’. This way, the information is recorded in the administration with a single click, saving time and ensuring accurate reporting afterwards.
Wandering detection
Naast onze mobiele telefonie kan je er ook een LynX dwaaldetectiesysteem vinden. Dit systeem zorgt ervoor dat bewoners met dwaalgedrag geen gevaar voor zichzelf of anderen vormen en daarnaast het werk van de zorgkundigen niet verhinderen. Zo is men in staat de bewoners op ieder moment te lokaliseren via een polsbandje dat deel uitmaakt van het verpleegoproepsysteem.

Intelligent lighting
As part of ensuring smooth communication, Zumtobel LynX activated was also chosen. The customized lighting creates a pleasant and calming environment. Care efficiency is increased, as the lights indicate where a call has been made and guide emergency services and/or nursing staff along the fastest route to reach a resident in need.
Innovative nurse call system
All of this is integrated into the LynX nurse call system. The major strength of this system is its flexibility. It combines a traditional nurse call system with new technologies such as localization and smart lighting.
